The concept of port constructions includes a wide variety of constructions. The most visible constructions that appear in ports are coastal constructions, dams and sea walls. Designing of port constructions is complex, because it combines geotechnical design and designs of concrete or steel constructions. The complexity is particularly visible during the design of coastal constructions.
