Tunnel Ljubno, left tube The left tube of the Ljubno tunnel at the highway section Peračica - Podtabor was built in 2007. The cross section width between the existing right and the new left tunnel tube is 42 m. The construction of the tunnel was planned according to the NATM principle. The main characteristics in planning the construction of the tunnel tube were the specific chemical-physical properties of the pyrite-clay (hill layers) such as swelling and the content of pyrite, which represents a hazard for the sulphate corrosion of concrete. |
Deepening in the coastal area of 7A and 7B berths in the port of Koper In the port of Koper, it is necessary to ensure an undisturbed development of the container terminal. The existing depths along the berths 7A and 7B and in the navigable channel are too shallow for modern container ships. As a part of a conceptual project, the selected solution needs to be implemented to ensure safety and stability of the existing construction while deepening the coast to a height point of 14.5 m. |
