Basic information:
• Performing static and geostatic analyses of floodplain barrier
• Total barrier width: 57.3 m
• Barrier height: H = 4 – 9.3 m
• Swimming pool volume: V = 14,000 m3
• Barrier design: Reinforced concrete structure with heel on the back-side and two ribs on retainer side
The location under consideration is located on the Reka watercourse, immediately after the confluence of the smaller watercourses of Brezovski graben (from the northeast side) and Lukenjski graben (from the southeast side). The barrier is foreseen on the river bed of the river, within its alluvial-proluvial sediments. The general intrusion of terrain inside the riverbed is in the direction of surface water runoff (in the Z direction), the slope drops steeply from the south direction towards the riverbed. The valley is 57.3 m wide and is filled by alluvial-proluvial sediments of both present watercourses. In the middle of the containment part of the barrier there is a reading opening 0.8 m wide and 4.2 m high.
